Nicholas James Alexander, 7th Earl of Caledon, (born 6 May 1955), is the Lord Lieutenant of County Armagh, Northern Ireland, UK. Life Alexander is the son of Denis Alexander, 6th Earl of Caledon (1920–1980) and Anne Louise, ''Freiin'' de Graevenitz (1927–1963). He was educated at Gordonstoun in Elgin, Scotland. He has been Lord Lieutenant of County Armagh since 1989 and is a Justice of the Peace. He was appointed Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (KCVO) in the 2015 New Year Honours. He was one of the peers carrying the Royal Standards at the 2023 Coronation. He was invited to ride in the King's procession at Royal Ascot 2023. He lives at Caledon, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Family Caledon has two sisters: Lady Tana Focke (born 1945) and Lady Elizabeth Jane Alexander (born 1962). He was married to Wendy Catherine Coumantaros from 1979 until 1985. Nicholas Alexander (), (died November 1364) was a List of rulers of Wallachia, Voivode of Wallachia (c. 1352 – November 1364), after having been co-ruler to his father Basarab I of Wallachia, Basarab I. Reign In the year 1359, he founded the Eastern Orthodox Church, Eastern Orthodox Metropolis of Ungro-Wallachia. After initially resisting pressures to become the Kingdom of Hungary's vassal, he yielded to King Louis I of Hungary, Louis I in 1354, and recognized the right of the Roman Catholic Church to establish Mission (Christian), missions in his principality, as well as the Privilege (legal ethics), privilege of Transylvanian Saxons, Saxon traders from Brașov to transit Wallachia without paying Duty (economics), duties. In 1355, Nicolae Alexandru and the King of Hungary reached an agreement in return for Severin. Nicholas Alexander died in 16 November 1364 and he was buried in Câmpulung. Nicholas Alexander (born August 24, 1988) is an American former ski jumper. who competed in the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics as a member of Team USA Career Early years He was born in Brattleboro, Vermont, and lives in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Alexander learned to ski and ski jump from members of the Lebanon Outing Club at the Storrs Hill Ski area. He made his world cup debut in Kuusamo in 2009. He is a member of the U.S. Men's Ski Jumping Team and he is an Olympian who competed in the 2010 Winter Olympics. U.S. Nationals Alexander won the 2013 Men's U.S. National Ski Jumping Championship in Lake Placid, NY on the normal Olympic hill. He was second that same year in 2013 in the Men's U.S. National Ski Jumping Championship in Park City, UT on the large Olympic hill.
