Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul (; ; born June 24, 1988), better known mononymously as Nichkhun (), is a Thai and American rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, and model who is currently based in South Korea as a member of the South Korean boy band 2PM. Early life and family Nichkhun was born in Rancho Cucamonga, California, U.S. to Thai father and Thai Chinese-American mother, is a dual national of Thailand and the United States. (at 0:48) His maternal grandparents emigrated to Thailand from Hainan, and he has said that he has extended family and distant ancestors from Guangzhou.
