Nicat Məmmədov
Nidjat Mamedov (; born 2 April 1985) is an Azerbaijani chess player. He was awarded the title Grandmaster by FIDE in 2006. Career He won the U14 section of European Youth Chess Championships in 1999. In 2007 Mamedov tied for first place with Mircea Pârligras in the 11th Open International Bavarian Championship in Bad Wiessee winning the tournament on tiebreak. He tied for first with Vadim Malakhatko and Valeriy Neverov in the 2007/08 Hastings International Chess Congress. In 2008 he tied for 4–8th with Tamaz Gelashvili, Anton Filippov, Constantin Lupulescu and Alexander Zubarev in the Romgaz Open tournament in Bucharest. In 2010 in Baku he got second place at the Azerbaijani Chess Championship. Mamedov won the Azerbaijani championship in 2011. In June 2013, he won the Teplice Open in Czech Republic. Nakhchivan (city)
Nakhchivan ( ; ) is the capital and largest city of the eponymous Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, a Enclave_and_exclave#True_exclaves, true exclave of Azerbaijan, located west of Baku. Alexander Volodymyrovych Zubarev (, ''Oleksandr Volodimirovich Zubarev''; born 17 December 1979) is a Ukrainian chess grandmaster (2002). In 2008 he tied for 4–8th with Tamaz Gelashvili, Anton Filippov, Constantin Lupulescu and Nidjat Mamedov in the Open Romgaz Tournament in Bucharest. In 2010 he came first at Ambès and won the 6th Anatoly Ermak Cup in Zaporizhia. In the same year he tied for 1st–3rd with Dmitry Svetushkin and Yuriy Kryvoruchko at Palaiochora. In 2011 he tied for 1st–2nd with Sergey Kasparov at Bad Woerishofen. World Team Chess Championship
The World Team Chess Championship is an international team chess event, eligible for the participation of 10 countries whose chess federations dominate their continent. It is played every two years. In chess, this tournament and the Chess Olympiads are the most important international tournaments for teams. The strongest national teams in the world participate, and also some teams represent an entire continent. A full round is played by the teams, meaning that each team plays against every other team. At the first tournament, in 1985, teams consisted of six players; since then, teams have been reduced to four players. Reserve players are permitted. The 34th Chess Olympiad (), organized by the Fédération Internationale des Échecs and comprising an openAlthough commonly referred to as the ''men's division'', this section is open to all players. and women's tournament, took place between October 28 and November 12, 2000, in Istanbul, Turkey. Sergei Tiviakov
Sergei Tiviakov (; born 14 February 1973) is a Russian–Dutch chess grandmaster. He is a three-time Dutch Champion and was European Champion in 2008. Chess career Tiviakov won the World Under-18 Championship in 1990 in Singapore. He was awarded the Grandmaster title in 1991. Tiviakov won the Dutch Chess Championship in 2006, 2007 and 2018. In 2008, in Plovdiv, Bulgaria he won the European Individual Chess Championship. Tiviakov won the Politiken Cup in Helsingør, Denmark in July 2008 on tiebreak after scoring 8/10. In 2009 he won the 13th Unive Tournament in Hoogeveen. In 2011 he came first in the Fagernes Chess Festival, in the 5th Leiden Chess Tournament and in the First Panama Chess Open.
