Gò Công
Gò Công is a town district (''thị xã'') of Tiền Giang province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. The town of Gò Công is not to be confused with East Gò Công and West Gò Công Districts ( vi, huyện Gò Công Đông and ) which also belong to Tiền Giang Province. The V.League 1 ( vi, Giải bóng đá vô địch quốc gia, lit=National Football League), also called Night Wolf V.League 1 due to sponsorship reasons, is the top professional football league in Vietnam, controlled by the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company. The Vietnam national football team ( vi, Đội tuyển bóng đá quốc gia Việt Nam) represents the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in international football and is controlled by the Vietnam Football Federation, the governing body of football in Vietnam. Vietnam was introduced to football by the French in the 19th century. However, due to various conflicts that occurred in the country throughout the 20th century, the development of Vietnamese football was significantly hampered. When Vietnam was split into Democratic Republic of Vietnam (north) and Republic of Vietnam (south) in 1954, two national teams existed simultaneously and were controlled by separate governing bodies. The term ''tiền'' ( Hán tự: 錢) is used to refer to various currency-related concepts used in Vietnamese history. The name is a cognate with the Chinese ''qián'' (錢), a unit of weight called " mace" in English. It can refer to a unit of weight used in precious metal coinages as well as the number of cash coins in a string. The name was also used for different awards, both Chinese-style and Western-style awards given in Vietnam throughout different times of its history. The word ''tiền'' is also the Vietnamese word for the concept of money in general. Cash coins In cash coins the term ''tiền'' could be used to refer to sub-strings of 10 cash coins in a string of 100~600.
