Nguyễn Thanh Nhàn
Nguyễn Thanh Nhàn (born 28 July 2003) is a Vietnamese professional footballer who plays as a winger or a forward for V.League 2 club PVF-CAND and the Vietnam national team. Early career Born in Tây Ninh, Thanh Nhàn started his youth career by participating in local youth football tournaments. His talent quickly impressed the local football managers, who advised him to take part in the admission test of youth football academies. Although in 2013 Thanh Nhàn was admitted to PVF Football Academy, he couldn't join the academy for personal reasons. In 2014, he joined Tây Ninh youth academy. His performances during the 2019 Vietnamese National U-17 Football Championship caught the attention of Vietnam U19 manager Philippe Troussier. PVF Football Academy signed Thanh Nhàn under Troussier's demand. Nguyễn Thanh Nhân (born 25 October 2000) is a Vietnamese professional footballer who plays as a left-back for V.League 1 club Hoàng Anh Gia Lai and the Vietnam national team. Club career A graduate from Hoang Anh Gia Lai – Arsenal JMG Academy, Thanh Nhân was promoted to the first team in 2022 to become Nguyễn Phong Hồng Duy's back-up at the left-back position. He made his first league debut on 7 February 2022 in the 1–1 draw Topenland Bình Định. On 28 April 2022, Thanh Nhân had his first AFC Champions League appearance in the 0–2 defeat against Japanese side Yokohama F. Marinos, replacing Nguyễn Công Phượng in the 54th minute. Association football, Football has been part of the SEA Games sport since the 1959 edition. The women's football competition was held for the first time in 1985 in Thailand. From the 2001 SEA Games to the 2015 SEA Games and again since 2021 SEA Games, the men's teams was restricted to under-23 plus additional three over-23 players maximum for each squad. Vietnamese National Football Cup (), commonly recognized and branded as the National Cup (), is a Vietnamese football competition. It is one of the most important club competitions in Vietnam. The Vietnamese Cup was first held in 1992. Cảng Sài Gòn was the first cup winner. Format Since 2004, entry is open to all teams that competed in the V.League 1 and the V.League 2. The two teams that reach the final were exempt from the preliminary rounds of the next year's competition. The cup winners would qualify to the Qualifying playoff round of AFC Champions League Two. V.League 1 teams are not allowed to use foreign players if they play against a V.League 2 team. The 2023 AFC Asian Cup was the 18th edition of the AFC Asian Cup, the quadrennial international Association football, football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The second round of 2026 FIFA World Cup AFC qualification, which also served as the second round of 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualification, began on 16 November 2023 and was completed on 11 June 2024. The 2023 AFC U-20 Asian Cup was the 41st edition of the AFC U-20 Asian Cup (including previous editions of the AFC Youth Championship and AFC U-19 Championship), the biennial international youth football championship organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the men's under-20 national teams of Asia. The 2023 Vietnamese Cup () is the 31st edition of the Vietnamese National Football Cup, the premier knockout competition in Vietnamese football. A total of 24 clubs contested, including all teams from the top two tiers of the Vietnamese football league system.
