Nguyễn Minh Trí
Nguyễn Minh Trí (born 8 April 1996) is a Vietnamese futsal player who plays as a pivot (striker) for Thái Sơn Nam HCMC and the Vietnam national team. He won the Vietnamese Golden Ball for futsal players in 2020. With Thái Sơn Nam HCMC, he has been crowned champions several times at Vietnam Futsal League. Playing career In 2016, Minh Trí scored a hat-trick in the opening match, helping Vietnam defeat Guatemala at the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup. This historic victory helped the Vietnam team advance to the knockout stage during their first ever participation in the tournament. In 2021, Minh Trí featured in Vietnam's squad for the 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup. Here, he scored a goal against Panama, thus became the first Vietnamese player to score in two consecutives Futsal World Cup editions. 2015 AFF Futsal Championship
The 2015 AFF Futsal Championship was the 12th edition of the tournament which was held in Thailand from 8 to 16 October 2015. This edition will also act as a qualification tournament for the 2016 AFC Futsal Championship. A statement in June stated that Thailand and Australia were already assured of qualification to the 2016 AFC Championship, due to their positioning in the previous (2014) edition. This was later modified back so that those who reach the semi-finals shall qualify. Singapore participated at the tournament after a 13-year absence, last participating at the inaugural edition in 2001. Teams The tournament was originally set to be hosted by Indonesia but the country's national football association was suspended by FIFA, barring the country from both hosting and participating in the tournament. Vietnamese Golden Ball (), also referred to as ''Vietnamese Footballer of the Year'', is an annual association football award for the best performances of Vietnamese footballer over the previous year. Presented since 1995 by Sài Gòn Giải Phóng Newspaper. The first winner was striker Le Huynh Duc. Since 2001, It also awards Young Player of the Year, Best Woman Player of the year and Best Foreign Player of the year. Futsal is a variant of association football played between two teams of five players each on a court smaller than a football pitch. Its rules are based on the Laws of the Game of association football, and it also shares similarities with five-a-side football and indoor soccer. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. The players mainly use their feet to propel a ball around the court with the objective of scoring goals against the opposing team by moving the ball beyond the goal line into the opposing team's goal. A futsal match consists of two periods of 20 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins; an equal number of goals scored results in a draw. Phủ Lý
Phủ Lý is the capital city of Hà Nam Province of Vietnam 60 km south of Hanoi on the Day River, river Đáy. History Phủ Lý was taken by the French gunboat, canonnière ''l'Espingole'' and 28 men captained by Adrien-Paul Balny d'Avricourt on October 26 1873, shortly before Balny's death together with Francis Garnier at Hanoi's West Gate. In the aftermath of World War II, Phủ Lý was where a significant number of VNQDD, VNQDĐ leaders were captured by the Việt Minh in 1946. The 2022 AFF Futsal Championship was the 17th edition of the AFF Futsal Championship, organized by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) in the sport of futsal. The tournament was held in Bangkok, Thailand. The top three finishing teams of the tournament will qualify for the 2022 AFC Futsal Asian Cup in Kuwait as AFF's representatives. The 2017 AFF Futsal Championship will be the 14th edition of the tournament. The tournament will be second AFF Futsal Championship to be held in 2017, with the 2016 AFF Futsal Championship, first one originally meant to be hosted in 2016 to be held in early 2017.
