Nex Playground
The Nex Playground is a 2023 console developed by San Jose-based company Nex. It is a motion controlled console developed to provide families with an indoor active play opportunity. Games for the console use motion tracking to complete challenges or tasks. Hardware The Nex Playground is a console with a built in ultra wide-angle camera, being described by Nex CEO David Lee as a successor to the Microsoft Kinect. It has an 8-core Arm Chip. 64GB of storage is available. The remote control connects to the console via Bluetooth and is used for initial setup and game selections. The console is an approximately 3"x3"x3" cube. The console connects to a TV with an HDMI cable. A disc to cover the camera is included and magnetically snaps onto the console body. Kinect is a discontinued line of motion sensing input devices produced by Microsoft and first released in 2010. ''Fruit Ninja'' is a video game developed by Halfbrick originally released on April 21, 2010. In the game, the player must slice fruit that is thrown into the air by swiping the device's touch screen with their finger(s) or (in the case of the Xbox 360 version) the player's arms and hands, and must not slice bombs. Care Bears are multi-colored bears, painted in 1981 by artist Elena Kucharik to be used on greeting cards from American Greetings. Endless runner or infinite runner is a subgenre of platform game in which the player character runs for an infinite amount of time while avoiding obstacles.
