Route 416, also known as Round Harbour Road, is a short north–south highway on the Baie Verte Peninsula of Newfoundland in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It connects the nearly abandoned community of Round Harbour, as well as the community of Snook's Harbour, with Route 414 (La Scie Highway) near the town of Brent's Cove. Route 416 is entirely a gravel two-lane roadway. Route description Route 416 begins in Round Harbour at the harbour in the centre of town. It leaves the community and winds its way northwest through hilly terrain for a few kilometres to pass through Snook's Harbour, where it makes a sharp right turn to the north at an intersection with a local road leading to downtown. The highway winds its way north through wooded areas for a few more kilometres before Route 416 comes to an end at an intersection with Route 414 just south of Brent's Cove. The Baie Verte Peninsula is a large peninsula on the north central coast of the island of Newfoundland in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Baie Verte Peninsula is a geologically complex area on the northwest coast of Newfoundland. The region is composed of multiple geological domains and has undergone extensive tectonic activity, uplift, and deformation, producing multiple unconformity surfaces. In addition, multiple phases of intrusion, some with volcanic cover sequences, add to the complexity of the geological model. The peninsula is home to many communities, the largest is Baie Verte where it gets its name. Route 414, also known as La Scie Highway, is a highway located on the Baie Verte Peninsula of Newfoundland in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Its western terminus is the intersection at Route 410, about 7 kilometres south of Baie Verte, and its eastern terminus is the Town of La Scie. Route description Route 414 begins at an intersection with Route 410 (Dorset Trail) just south of Baie Verte. It heads eastward down the centre of the eastern half of the peninsula, having intersections with Route 418 (Ming's Bight Road), Route 417 (Pacquet Road), and Route 415 (Nipper's Harbour Road).
