Indianapolis Museum Of Art
The Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA) is an encyclopedic art museum located at Newfields, a campus that also houses Lilly House, The Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park, the Garden at Newfields and more. It is located at the corner of North Michigan Road and West 38th Street, about three miles north of downtown Indianapolis, northwest of Crown Hill Cemetery. There are exhibitions, classes, tours, and events, many of which change seasonally. The entire campus and organization was previously referred to as the Indianapolis Museum of Art, but in 2017 the campus and organization were renamed "Newfields" as part of a rebranding campaign. The "Indianapolis Museum of Art" now specifically refers to the main art museum building that acts as the cornerstone of the campus, as well as the legal name of the organization doing business as Newfields. Newfields is a town in Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 1,769 at the 2020 census. The primary village in town, where 378 people resided at the 2020 census, is defined as the Newfields census-designated place (CDP) and is located along New Hampshire Route 85 and the Squamscott River. It is a quaint village of handsome old houses. Newfields is one of New Hampshire's wealthiest towns, with a median household income of $154,375 for the period 2015-19. Newfields is a census-designated place (CDP) and the main village within the town of Newfields, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. The population of the CDP was 378 at the 2020 census, out of 1,769 in the entire town. Geography The CDP is on the eastern edge of the town of Newfields, along the west side of the Squamscott River, which forms the town line with Stratham. The CDP extends south along the river to Parting Brook and north along it to an unnamed brook west of New Hampshire Route 108. To the west the CDP reaches to the east end of Meadow Road at New Hampshire Route 87. New Hampshire Route 85 passes through the center of the community as Main Street; it leads northeast to Route 108 and south to the center of Exeter. Durham is to the north via Routes 85 and 108. Newfield Primary School
Whitfield is a residential, social-housing scheme located to the north of Dundee, Scotland. Building of scheme commenced in the 1960s to accommodate Dundee's expanding population. Much of the housing was low rise, deck access flats, innovative for the time, built using the "Skarne" prefabrication system. The construction of the northernmost parts of the scheme, which were almost-exclusively Skarne blocks, continued into the early 1970s. Between 1989 and 1995 it was one of the four areas chosen for the Scottish Office programme New Life for Urban Scotland. Much of the deck access housing in the area was demolished as the area was remodelled. In the 2004 Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation, Whitfield contained two datazones (average population 1,000) in the most deprived 15% of datazones in Scotland. Alexa Kennedy Newfield (born December 3, 1991) is an American retired association football, soccer player who last played as a Forward (association football), forward for Washington Spirit of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Newfield Park, Bridgeport
Newfield Park is an outdoor park located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It is located in the east end of the city at 698 Seaview Avenue. Baseball From 1902 to 1914, it was the home field of the Bridgeport Orators, a now defunct minor league baseball team that played in the Connecticut League. On Sunday, April 28, 1918, the Boston Red Sox defeated the Bridgeport All-Stars in an exhibition game. On August 4, 1930, Bridgeport's first night baseball game was played at Newfield Park when the Bridgeport Bears faced the Springfield Ponies. Newfield High School is a public high school in Selden, New York, United States. It is located north of Middle Country Road (Route 25) on Marshall Drive. History and overview As suburban growth spread into central Suffolk county in the 1950s, the new Middle Country Central School District was created in 1957 from the merger of the Selden and Centereach school districts. Newfield Hamlet, New York
Newfield is a census-designated place (CDP) in Tompkins County, New York, United States. The population was 759 at the 2010 census. Newfield Hamlet lies near the center of the town of Newfield and is located southwest of Ithaca. It was incorporated as a village in 1895. On September 21, 1926, local residents voted in favor of dissolution. Final sale and transfer of assets and services to the Town of Newfield took place on March 21, 1927 when the Village of Newfield Board of Trustees held their last meeting.
