New Zealand competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China, from 4 to 20 February 2022. The New Zealand team consisted of 15 athletes—nine men and six women—who competed in five sports. Freestyle skiing at the 2022 Winter Olympics were held at the Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou and Big Air Shougang in Beijing, China. The events were held between 3 and 19 February 2022. Ben Barclay (born 4 February 2002) is a New Zealand freestyle skier. He made his Olympic debut representing New Zealand at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Campbell Wright (born 25 May 2002) is an American-New Zealand biathlete. In November 2021, he became the second teenager to score Biathlon World Cup points. He represented New Zealand in biathlon at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. He became the first New Zealander and Southern Hemisphere athlete to win a medal in biathlon after winning the 2023 Junior World Championships in the 10km Sprint at Shchuchinsk, Kazakhstan.
