New Republic Party (Costa Rica)
The New Republic Party () is a Costa Rican conservative political party founded on 20 October 2018. The party was founded after the resignation of the evangelical singer and journalist Fabricio Alvarado Muñoz from the Christian party National Restoration for disagreements with the Executive Committee chaired by Congressman Carlos Avendaño. Fabricio Alvarado Muñoz
Fabricio Gerardo Alvarado Muñoz (born 30 May 1974) is a Costa Rican politician, singer and Undergraduate degree, undergraduate journalist. Biography He was once a deputy in the Legislative Assembly of Costa Rica, Legislative Assembly, representing the San José Province. He is also a musician, having released a number of songs in the Christian music, Christian genre. A study made by the University of Costa Rica in 2021 showed that 19% of the population were Evangelical Christians and 1% were Traditional Protestants. In Latin America most Protestants are called Evangelicos. There are different Protestant denominations that are active there, mostly Evangelical, Pentecostal, Lutheran, Baptist, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Adventist and the Costa Rican Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Carlos Andrés Alvarado Quesada (; born 14 January 1980) is a Costa Rican politician, writer, journalist, and political scientist who served as the 48th president of Costa Rica from 8 May 2018 to 8 May 2022. 2018 Costa Rican General Election
General elections were held in Costa Rica in 2018 to elect both the President and Legislative Assembly.
