Ipswich is a coastal town in Essex County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 13,785 at the 2020 census. Molecular biology is the branch of biology that seeks to understand the molecular basis of biological activity in and between cells, including biomolecular synthesis, modification, mechanisms, and interactions. The study of chemical and physical structure of biological macromolecules is known as molecular biology. Richard John Roberts
Sir Richard John Roberts (born 6 September 1943) is a British biochemist and molecular biologist. He was awarded the 1993 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with Phillip Allen Sharp for the discovery of introns in eukaryotic DNA and the mechanism of gene-splicing. He currently works at New England Biolabs. Early life and education Roberts was born in Derby, the son of Edna (Allsop) and John Roberts, an auto mechanic.
