New 80s Musik
''New 80s Musik'' is the debut album of British singer Jack Lucien. It did not chart in the United Kingdom and briefly appeared on the charts in France and Spain. According to ASCAP, all songs were written or co-written by Lucien. ''Gone Before It Happens'' was written by Lucien back in 2004 when his name was ''Hun''. Since the release of the album, Jack Lucien has shown his dissatisfaction with the album, saying in his blogs in 2009 that "it belongs in the bargain bin" and that ''First Sign of Life'' is his least favourite song. Lucien Jack (born 19 July 1988) is a British-born Andorran comedian, singer, and songwriter who has had success in Continental Europe under the names Hun, Lucien and Jack Lucien. He is best known for his 2009 single "I'm Not Afraid". Biography Music career 2004 – 2007 In 2004, under the name Hun he released his first single ''Gone Before It Happens'' under the Spanish record label, O'Clock Music. It was released on 25 July 2004. In 2006, he returned with the name Lucien and released an EP ''What You Said To Me...''. The only single was ''It's Unconditional'', and it managed to achieve mild success in Europe. 2008 – 2014 In 2008, he released his debut album ''New 80s Musik''. Vaiko Eplik
Vaiko Eplik (born 1 August 1981) is an independent Estonian pop-composer, producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist. Eplik was born in Rapla, Estonia, into a music-loving family. Eplik studied music at the Tallinn Music School, specialising in pop-jazz singing and also studied the guitar, which he now teaches. The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) () is an American not-for-profit performance-rights organization (PRO) that collectively licenses the public performance rights of its members' musical works to venues, broadcasters, and digital streaming services (music stores). ASCAP collects licensing fees from users of music created by ASCAP members, then distributes them back to its members as royalties. In effect, the arrangement is the product of a compromise: when a song is played, the user does not have to pay the copyright holder directly, nor does the music creator have to bill a radio station for use of a song.
