Never Say Never (2019) was a professional wrestling event produced by Major League Wrestling (MLW), which took place on July 25, 2019, at the Melrose Ballroom in New York, New York. The event was a television taping for future episodes of '' Fusion'' on beIN Sports. It was the third event in the Never Say Never chronology. Fourteen professional wrestling matches were taped at the event with most of the matches airing on future episodes of ''Fusion''. In the main event, Jacob Fatu successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Tom Lawlor. In other prominent matches on the card, L.A. Park defeated Jimmy Havoc in a New York City Street Fight, Teddy Hart retained the World Middleweight Championship against MJF and Alexander Hammerstone retained the National Openweight Championship against the debuting Savio Vega. Major League Wrestling (MLW), is an American professional wrestling promotion based in New Rochelle, New York. The promotion was founded in 2002 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by former WWE writer Court Bauer. The promotion markets its product as "Hybrid Wrestling", with its roster featuring a mix of different styles. Teddy Hart
Edward Ellsworth Annis (born February 2, 1980) is a Canadian-American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Teddy Hart. He currently wrestles on the independent circuit. He wrestled on a National scale for Major League Wrestling (MLW) as the leader of The Hart Foundation, where he held the MLW World Middleweight and MLW Tag Team championships. He has also wrestled for AAA, the short-lived Wrestling Society X, Jersey All Pro Wrestling, and Dragon Gate USA. He operates a wrestling school in Edmonton. He is the son of Georgia Hart of the Hart wrestling family and wrestler B. J. Annis. He is also the nephew of former professional wrestlers, Bret Hart and Owen Hart. Battle Riot II was a professional wrestling event produced by Major League Wrestling (MLW). It took place on April 5, 2019 at the Melrose Ballroom in New York, New York. The event aired live as a two-hour special episode of '' Fusion'' on beIN Sports. It was the second event under the Battle Riot chronology. Twelve matches were contested at the event with four matches airing live at Battle Riot. The other seven matches were taped for future episodes of ''Fusion'' and one match was a non-televised match. The main event was the 39-man Battle Riot match, in which the winner would earn a future MLW World Heavyweight Championship opportunity. L. A. Park won the Battle Riot to earn the title shot. Hardcore Wrestling
Hardcore wrestling is a form of professional wrestling where disqualifications, count-outs, and all other different rules do not apply. Adolfo Margarito Tapia Ibarra (November 14, 1965) is a Mexican '' luchador enmascarado'' ( masked professional wrestler), who currently performs as L. A. Park for Major League Wrestling in the United States, where he is a former MLW World Tag Team Champion. He also performs for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) in Mexico. He is best known throughout the world as La Parka, especially from his many years in the American World Championship Wrestling promotion. He has worked for every major and multiple minor wrestling promotions in Mexico, as well as participating on multiple wrestling tours in Japan.
