Never Cry Another Tear
''Never Cry Another Tear'' is the only studio album by Bad Lieutenant. It was released in the UK on 12 October 2009, and in the US on 10 November 2009. New Order member Bernard Sumner formed the group with Jake Evans and Phil Cunningham. The three guitarists wrote and performed the album together with a number of additional musicians. Bad Lieutenant (band)
Bad Lieutenant was an English alternative rock supergroup formed following the second breakup of New Order. The band consisted of then-former New Order members Bernard SumnerThe ''Never Cry Another Tear'' album liner notes explicitly state, "Bad Lieutenant are Phil Cunningham, Jake Evans, Bernard Sumner" and Phil Cunningham as well as Rambo & Leroy's Jake Evans. The name of the band is taken from the 1992 film '' Bad Lieutenant'' directed by Abel Ferrara, which a friend of Johnny Marr's was watching when Sumner visited Marr's house. Tom Chapman
Thomas Louis Chapman (born 15 May 1972) is a French-British musician, producer and songwriter, best known as being the bass guitarist of English rock band New Order. He is also one of the founding members of Anglo-American group ShadowParty and more recently in 2020, Sea Fever.
