Nevenka Topalušić
Nevenka Topalušić (; 21 November 1954 – 22 October 2014) was a Croatian nurse and war veteran. Born in Gradec, Zagreb County, Gradec, where she attended elementary school, Topalušić was educated at the medical school in Zadar and graduated in palliative care at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb, School of Medicine in Zagreb. At the dawn of the Croatian War for Independence, she worked as a nurse in a health centre in Vrbovec, where she was also a member of the ambulance service. Before the outbreak of the war, she gave birth to two sons (Dubravko, Željko) and a daughter Ana. During the war she fought in the 51st battalion from Vrbovec. Together with her husband Branko and son Dubravko, she engaged in providing accommodation and medical treatment to the wounded soldiers and civilians, as well as enemy soldiers and member of the UNPROFOR forces. Operation Una () was a military offensive conducted by the Croatian Army (''Hrvatska vojska'' – HV) against the Army of Republika Srpska (''Vojska Republike Srpske'' – VRS) in western Bosnia and Herzegovina on 18–19 September 1995, during the Bosnian War. The operation entailed a crossing of the Una and Sava rivers to establish bridgeheads at Novi Grad, Bosanska Dubica, Bosanska Kostajnica and opposite Jasenovac to allow for a subsequent advance towards Prijedor and Banja Luka. 2014–2016 Croatian war veterans tent protest was 555 days long war veterans protest, often dubbed in Croatia as The Tenters (). The protests were initially aimed against Ministry of Croatian Veterans deputy Bojan Glavašević and Minister Predrag Matić himself, however the protesters subsequently changed their demands and started demanding the resignation of centre-left Prime Minister Zoran Milanović and then President Ivo Josipović. The protests escalated in May 2015 when a group of protesters breached the riot police cordons in Zagreb Upper Town and barricaded themselves inside St. Mark Church, where they again clashed with the police. At the same time another group of protesters near the central tent blocked the traffic and brought out gas bottles on Savska street which they apparently threatened to blow if the police refused to back off from the church. Operation Storm ( sh-Latn-Cyrl, Operacija Oluja, separator=" / ", Операција Олуја) was the last major battle of the Croatian War of Independence and a major factor in the outcome of the Bosnian War. It was a decisive victory for the Croatian Army (HV), which attacked across a front against the self-declared proto-state Republic of Serbian Krajina (RSK), and a strategic victory for the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ARBiH).
