Neve (American Band)
Neve was a pop rock band based out of Los Angeles, California. The band released two albums on Columbia Records, and scored one hit single in 1999, "It's Over Now." History Neve formed in 1997, and within a year were signed to Columbia Records. Their first album was released in 1998 under the title ''Identify Yourself'', and featured the hit single " It's Over Now," which was also included on the soundtrack to the movie ''The Faculty''. "It's Over Now" peaked on the ''Billboard'' Modern Rock Tracks chart at No. 30 in 1999 and reached No. 25 on the Adult Top 40 chart in 2000. A second track, "Skyfall," was included in the soundtrack to the film '' Here on Earth''. After recording two new studio tracks, Identify Yourself was reissued and rereleased as ''Neve'' in 2000, and garnered stylistic comparisons to Matchbox 20 and Nine Days. Matthew Michael Serletic II (born 1970 or 1971) is an American record producer, songwriter, and music executive. Career As a teenager, Serletic joined a band with members of Collective Soul – a group for which he would later produce. Serletic has worked with several other popular bands and artists for Atlantic Records, including Matchbox Twenty, Cher, Blessid Union of Souls, Edwin McCain, Stacie Orrico, Taylor Hicks, Rob Thomas, and singer/songwriter Angie Aparo. Rascal Flatts is an American Country music, country music band formed in 1999 in Nashville, Tennessee. The band consists of Gary LeVox (lead vocals), Jay DeMarcus (bass guitar, background vocals), and Joe Don Rooney (lead guitar, background vocals). Joe Don Rooney (born September 13, 1975) is an American guitarist. He is the lead guitarist and high octave harmony singer in the country music band Rascal Flatts. In addition to the electric guitar, Rooney plays the acoustic and bass guitars, as well as mandolin & banjo. His influences include guitarists Chet Atkins, Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck.
