It runs northwest from State Route 88 near the California state line along Foothill Road to Genoa, and then turns east on Genoa Lane to end at U.S. Route 395. Route description State Route 206 begins at a junction with SR 88 in Centerville, 1 mile (1.6 km) from the California state line. From there, the route heads northwest with a gradual climb through the Sheridan area to meet SR 207 near Mottsville. The route then continues north, winding along the foothills of the Carson Range until reaching the town of Genoa. From there, SR 206 makes an immediate right at the intersection with Main Street to terminate at US 395 west of Minden–Tahoe Airport. Minden–Tahoe Airport is a general aviation airport serving the Carson Valley in Douglas County, Nevada, United States, including the towns of Minden, Gardnerville and Genoa, Nevada; and Lake Tahoe to the west. The airport is about five miles north of Minden. It is home to the Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch Center and regional firefighting air tanker base. Woodfords (formerly, Brannan Springs, Carey's Mill, Cary's Mills, Carys Mill, Carys Mills, Woodford's, Carey's Mills, and Woodford) is an unincorporated community in Alpine County, California, near Markleeville. State Route 19 (SR 19) is a former state highway in Douglas County, Nevada. The route was designated by 1929. As designated, it connected a branch of State Route 3 (now U.S. Route 50) near South Lake Tahoe to California southeast of Gardnerville near Topaz Lake. SR 19 followed the present-day alignment of State Routes 206, a small portion of State Route 207, and all of State Route 757. The route was cosigned with State Route 3 between Minden and Topaz Lake, then dropped SR 3 as it headed south into California. The portions of the route south of what is now SR 757 were later overlapped by US 395. Route description State Route 757 begins on Muller Lane at a junction with Foothill Road ( State Route 206) on the west side of the Carson Valley just south of Genoa. From there, the highway heads due east along Muller Lane, passing through farmlands and open fields. The route crosses over the west and east forks of the Carson River on its trek. Minden is a census-designated place (CDP) in Douglas County, Nevada, United States. The population was 3,001 at the United States Census 2010, 2010 census. It is the county seat of Douglas County and is adjacent to the town of Gardnerville, Nevada, Gardnerville. The Douglas campus of the Western Nevada College is located in Minden. History It was founded in 1906 by Heinrich Friedrich Dangberg Jr., who named it after the town of Minden, in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, which was near his father's birthplace. State Route 207 (SR 207) is an state highway in western Douglas County, Nevada, United States. Commonly known as the Kingsbury Grade, it is one of three Nevada highways that connect the western edge of the state to the Lake Tahoe region through the Carson Range. The route was part of State Route 19 prior to 1976. Route description SR 207 begins at a junction with U.S. Route 50 in Stateline, less than from the California state line near the southern shores of Lake Tahoe. From there, the route heads eastward on an uphill climb through the Kingsbury area to travel through Daggett Pass (elevation ).
