Neukom Institute For Computational Science
The Neukom Institute for Computational Science is a collection of offices and laboratory facilities at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. The institute was funded by a donation from Bill Neukom in 2004, then Dartmouth's largest gift for an academic program. The institute provides programs for undergraduates and graduate students as well as encouraging public engagement with computer science through programs such as Neukom Institute Literary Arts Award. Literary Arts Award The Neukom Institute Literary Arts Award is presented to celebrate new works of speculative fiction. The three categories are: Speculative Fiction, Debut Speculative Fiction and Playwriting. Speculative Fiction This award is for any work of speculative fiction published in the last two and a half years or that is about to be published. Dartmouth College

Hanover is a town located along the Connecticut River in Grafton County, New Hampshire, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 11,870. Bill Neukom
William Horlick Neukom (born 1942) is an American former managing general partner of the San Francisco Giants baseball team ownership group. He held this position from May 2008 to December 31, 2011 and he was the managing partner when the Giants won the World Series in 2010, the first World Series win since the team had moved to California in 1958. Prior to holding this position, he was President of the American Bar Association in 2007–08. He was the principal legal counsel for Microsoft for almost 25 years. He was also the Chairman of the law firm of Preston Gates & Ellis, LLP in Seattle, now part of K&L Gates. He is a Co-Founder & CEO of the World Justice Project. Speculative fiction is a term that has been used with a variety of (sometimes contradictory) meanings. The broadest interpretation is as a category of fiction encompassing genres with elements that do not exist in reality, recorded history, nature, or the present universe. Lavie Tidhar ( he, לביא תדהר; born 16 November 1976) is an Israeli-born writer, working across multiple genres. He has lived in the United Kingdom and South Africa for long periods of time, as well as Laos and Vanuatu. As of 2013, Tidhar lives in London. His novel '' Osama'' won the 2012 World Fantasy Award for Best Novel, beating Stephen King's ''11/22/63'' and George R. R. Martin's '' A Dance with Dragons''.
