is the 22nd studio album by Japanese entertainer Miho Nakayama. Released through King Records (Japan), King Records on December 4, 2019, it was Nakayama's first studio release in 20 years after her 1999 album ''Manifesto (Miho Nakayama album), Manifesto''. The album features four new songs and four self-covers. The first press limited edition release featured a cover painting by Ryōji Arai and a 2020 mini-calendar. is a Japanese singer and actress. She is affiliated with Big Apple Co., Ltd. Nakayama is nicknamed , and sometimes uses the pseudonyms or when she writes the lyrics. Biography History Nakayama was born in Saku, Nagano, Japan. Following her mother's remarriage, her family moved to Koganei, Tokyo. There, Nakayama attended Koganei Municipal Junior High School. "C" (stylized as "「C」") is the debut single by Japanese entertainer Miho Nakayama. Written by Takashi Matsumoto and Kyōhei Tsutsumi, the single was released on June 21, 1985, by King Records. Background and release Aside from being her debut single, "C" marked the beginning of her collaboration with songwriters Matsumoto and Tsutsumi, who went on to write songs on her first four albums. The banjo is a stringed instrument with a thin membrane stretched over a frame or cavity to form a resonator. The pedal steel guitar is a console-type of steel guitar with pedals and knee levers that change the pitch of certain strings to enable playing more varied and complex music than any previous steel guitar design. Like all steel guitars, it can play unlimited glissandi (sliding notes) and deep vibrati—characteristics it shares with the human voice. Pedal steel is most commonly associated with American country music and Hawaiian music. Pedals were added to a lap steel guitar in 1940, allowing the performer to play a major scale without moving the bar and also to push the pedals while striking a chord, making passing notes slur or bend up into harmony with existing notes. Regarded as an influential figure in the city pop genre, she is one of the best-selling music artists in Japan, having sold over 16 million records, and has received several accolades. is the fourth single by Japanese entertainer Miho Nakayama. Written by Mariya Takeuchi, the single was released on February 5, 1986, by King Records. Background and release "Iro White Blend" was used by Shiseido for their spring 1986 commercials featuring Nakayama. During the recording of the song, songwriter Mariya Takeuchi coached Nakayama in pronouncing the English lines of the lyrics. On live performances of the song, fans would wave white-colored handkerchiefs, towels, and hats. "Iro White Blend" peaked at No. 5 on Oricon's weekly singles chart and sold over 223,000 copies, making it Nakayama's biggest-selling single until " Waku Waku Sasete" was released later that year. Kyōhei Tsutsumi
(born Eikichi Watanabe, 28 May 1940 - 7 October 2020), was a Japanese composer, record producer and arranger. Tsutsumi began his career as a songwriter about 1966, and he came to prominence as a composer of Ayumi Ishida's chart-topping hit "Blue Light Yokohama" in the late 1960s. He has released nearly 3,000 compositions to date, over 500 of which have entered the Japanese Oricon singles chart. Tsutsumi is the most commercially successful composer of the Japanese popular music of last five decades, selling over 76 million units on the country's singles chart from 1968 onwards. Takashi Matsumoto (lyricist)
is a Japanese lyricist and former musician. After several years playing the drums in the rock bands Apryl Fool and Happy End during the late 1960s and early 1970s, Matsumoto decided to focus on writing lyrics for others in 1974. As of 2015, he had written over 2,100 songs, 130 of which entered the top 10 on the Oricon chart. Total sales of the singles he has written exceed 49.8 million copies, making him the third best-selling lyricist in Japan. In 2017, he was awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon from the Japanese government for his work in music. Toshiki Kadomatsu
is a Japanese city pop singer-songwriter, musician, and producer. He has released many studio albums, as well as several instrumental and live albums. He has been active since at least 1981 and is still active, having released his most recent album in August 2022. Biography Kadomatsu began playing music at around grade 4 or 5, after seeing his older brother playing guitar and wanting to try it himself. Kadomatsu studied philosophy at Nihon University, where he participated in the university's music club.
