Network Of Concerned Historians
The Network of Concerned Historians (NCH) is a human rights network providing a bridge between international human rights organizations campaigning for censored or persecuted historians (and other concerned with the past) and the global community of historians. Its work consists of two core activities: the collection of information on persecuted and censored historians; and the dissemination of urgent actions for persecuted and censored historians (and others who write about the past). The NCH publishes an ''Annual Report'' covering countries around the globe. Background History NCH was created in 1995 by Antoon De Baets, prof. em. of History, Ethics and Human Rights by Special Appointment of the European Association of History Educators (EuroClio) at the University of Groningen (2014–) and President of the International Commission for the History and Theory of Historiography (2022–). International Students Of History Association
The International Students of History Association (ISHA) is an international non-governmental organization of students of history. Based and active mainly in Europe, ISHA's goals are to facilitate communication and provide a platform of exchange for students of history and related sciences on an international level. ISHA was founded in Budapest in May 1990 thanks to the initiative of Hungarian history students who, after revolutions of 1989, the fall of the Iron Curtain, wanted to forge links with their colleagues in Western Europe. The Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies (MIGS) was a research institute based at Concordia University (Quebec), Concordia University in Montreal, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
