Netrnoi Sor Vorasingh ( th, เนตรน้อย ส.วรสิงห์; April 22, 1959, in Bua Yai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province – December 3, 1982 in Phang Khon District, Sakon Nakhon Province) was a Thai world boxing champion. Biography & career Sor Vorasingh was born as Netr Ladnork (เนตร ลาดนอก) in poor family in Bua Yai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, but raised in Phang Khon District, Sakon Nakhon Province. Sor Vorasingh turned professional in 1975 at the age of fifteen, after being unsuccessful in Muay Thai style. He had challenged championship three times, the first time with the OPBF light flyweight champion Sang-il Chun of South Korea in 1976, the result was draw. Davey Moore (June 9, 1959 – June 3, 1988) was an American professional boxer who held the WBA light middleweight title between February 1982 and June 1983, the second of two professional champions who shared the name in the second half of the 20th century. Each died around the age of thirty, the first, Davey S. Moore, as a result of punishment in a fight, the second in an accident at his home. The latter was born in New York during the championship reign of the first. Salvador "Sal" Sánchez Narváez (January 26, 1959 – August 12, 1982) was a Mexican professional boxer born in the town of Santiago Tianguistenco, Estado de México. Sanchez was the WBC and ''The Ring featherweight champion from 1980 to 1982. Many of his contemporaries as well as boxing writers believe that had it not been for his premature death, Sánchez could have gone on to become the greatest featherweight boxer of all time. Kim Sung-Jun (Hangul: 김성준, Hanja: 金性俊) (June 3, 1953 – February 3, 1989) was a boxer from South Korea. In January, 1978, he won the Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation light flyweight title. In September, 1978, Kim became the WBC light flyweight champion with a KO win over Netrnoi Sor Vorasingh. He defended the belt three times before losing it to Shigeo Nakajima in January, 1980. Lumpinee Boxing Stadium ( th, สนามเวทีมวยลุมพินี) is a sporting arena in Bangkok, Thailand. The stadium is named after Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha. Opened more than a decade later than Rajadamnern Stadium, Lumpinee is run by the Royal Thai Army. It has become the symbol of modern Muay Thai.
