Netherlands In The Junior Eurovision Song Contest
The Netherlands has participated in every edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest since its inception in and is the only country to have taken part in every edition of the contest. The country has won the competition on one occasion; in , with the song "Click Clack" by Ralf Mackenbach. Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS (formerly AVRO) has been responsible for the participation, selecting the nation's entrant through the national final ''Junior Songfestival''. History The Netherlands are one of the sixteen countries to have made their debut at the inaugural Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2003, which took place on 15 November 2003 at the Forum in Copenhagen, Denmark. The broadcaster AVROTROS, formerly Algemene Vereniging Radio Omroep, AVRO, is responsible for the organisation of the Dutch Junior Eurovision Song Contest entry. AVROTROS
AVROTROS () is a Dutch radio and television broadcaster that is part of the Dutch public broadcasting system. It was founded in 2014 as the result of a merger between the Algemene Vereniging Radio Omroep (AVRO) and the TROS, Televisie Radio Omroep Stichting (TROS). The name AVROTROS has been used for jointly produced programmes since 1 January 2014. Since 7 September 2014, all existing AVRO and TROS programmes have also been broadcast under the name AVROTROS. Building Before 2014, the AVRO was housed in the building in Hilversum from 2000, while the TROS operated from the former Christelijk Lyceum, also in Hilversum, from 1970. On 20 June 2012, it was announced that both broadcasters would move into the Wereldomroepgebouw after the merger. The move was completed after a renovation on 1 January 2014. In 2014, AVROTROS started using the Vondelparkpaviljoen in Amsterdam, which had been renovated and renamed "Vondel CS".

The Netherlands was represented at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 which was held on 29 November 2020 in Warsaw, Poland. The girl group Unity was selected by AVROTROS to represent the country through the televised national selection ''Junior Songfestival 2020''. They achieved 4th place with 132 points. Mylène & Rosanne is a Dutch singing duo, consisting of the twin sisters Mylène and Rosanne Waalewijn (born 12 February 2000). Rachel Traets (born 16 August 1998) is a singer from the Netherlands. Traets lives in Wouw, a small village in the south-west of the Netherlands. In October 2011 she won the Dutch music competition Junior Songfestival 2011 with the song "" (). She was selected to represent her country in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 held on 3 December 2011 in Yerevan, Armenia.
