Argegno (Comasco: ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about north of Milan and about north of Como. The village, like many in the Lake Como area is popular with expatriates, particularly from the United Kingdom, a situation exacerbated by the economic flux in recent years. The ''Triangolo lariano'' is a geographic area in Lombardy, Italy within the Province of Como. It is represented by a territorial intermediate institution named '' Comunità montana del Triangolo lariano'', with a base in Canzo. Topography There are three big lakes in Italy which reach a depth of more than 300 metres and cover an area of hundreds of square kilometres. They are aligned west–east, since they all are within the pre-alpine zone of Lombardy region. The westernmost is Lake Maggiore, and it marks the boundary with the region of Piedmont; the easternmost is Lake Garda, marking the boundary with the region of Veneto, and the central one is Lake Como. Laglio (; lmo, label=Comasco, Lài ) is an Italian of 930 inhabitants in the Province of Como in Lombardy. It is on the western shore of the south-western branch of Lake Como, from the town of Como. Geography The town is above sea level and occupies a strip of land between Mount Colmegnone, high, and the lake. The town itself is made up of several hamlets: Germanello, Ossana, Soldino, Ticée, e Torriggia. On the slopes of Mount Colmegnone above the hamlet of Torriggia is the famous "Bear Hole" cave (which can be visited upon request at the commune offices) within which were found the bones of '' Ursus spelaeus''. The Bear Hole is made up of various rooms with partly unexplored underground lakes, and is rich in spring water.
