Nerea Iráculis Arregui (born in Amorebieta-Etxano on 17 December 1968) is a Basque lawyer, legal scholar and professor of law. She is currently a full professor of commercial law at the University of the Basque Country. Biography and career Nerea Iráculis was born in Amorebieta-Etxano ( Basque Country) on 17 December 1968. She studied a licenciate degree in law at the University of Deusto and graduated in 1991. Later she obtained a doctorate in law at the University of the Basque Country in 2008, with the thesis "''Advertising of medicines for human use''", directed by the Spanish full professor Alberto Emparanza Sobejano. She practiced as a corporate lawyer for a few years, member of the Biscay Bar Association. In 1993 she began as a university professor of commercial law at the University of the Basque Country. Amorebieta-Etxano
Amorebieta-Etxano, also known as Zornotza (Spanish, ''Amorebieta-Echano''), is a town and municipality located in Biscay in the Basque Country, an Autonomous Community in northern Spain. At the time of the 2019 census, the population of the municipality was 19,339, with 16,907 inhabitants living in Amorebieta. The mayor is Andoni Agirrebeitia. Geography Amorebieta-Etxano is an inland town in the comarca of Duranguesado in the province of Biscay in northern Spain. It is about east of Bilbao and close to the European route E70 which runs along the north coast of Spain. The Basque Summer University (in Basque and officially: Udako Euskal Unibertsitatea, UEU) is an educational institution created in 1973 for the promotion of the Basque language at the university level.
