Neram Nadi Kadu Akalidi
''Neram Nadi Kadu Akalidi'' () is a 1976 Indian Telugu language, Telugu-language action drama film, produced by Y. V. Rao under the banner Ravi Chitra Films and directed by S. D. Lal. It stars N. T. Rama Rao and Manjula Vijayakumar, Manjula, with music composed by Satyam (composer), Satyam. It is a remake of the Hindi-language film ''Roti (1974 film), Roti'' (1974), starring Rajesh Khanna and Mumtaz (actress), Mumtaz. Plot The film begins with two linemen Sriramulu & Raghavaiah spotting notorious gangster Ranjit derailing who fires them in which Sriramulu dies and Raghavaiah loses his eyesight. Following, Sriramulu's wife also dies when out of hunger their son Vikram turns into a hoodlum and is raised by Ranjit unbeknownst. Gollapudi Maruti Rao (14 April 1939 – 12 December 2019) was an Indian actor, screenwriter, dramatist, playwright, columnist and dialogue writer known for his works in Telugu cinema, Telugu theatre and Telugu Literature. Rao acted in over 250 Telugu films in a variety of roles. Tadepalli Lakshmi Kantha Rao (16 November 1923 – 22 March 2009) was an Indian actor and producer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. Regarded as one of the finest method actors, Rao starred in more than four hundred feature films in a variety of genres including mythological, social and folklore. He has also acted in a few Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam movies. He has produced about five films under the Hyma Films banner. Arudra (born Bhagavatula Sadasiva Sankara Sastry; 31 August 1925 – 4 June 1998) was an Indian author, poet, lyricist, translator, publisher, dramatist, playwright, and an expert on Telugu literature.
