Nepal Medical Council (NMC)
The Nepal Medical Council (NMC) is a statutory body regulating medical education and registration of doctors in Nepal. NMC was established in 1964 under Nepal Medical Council Act 1964. Chairman of NMC is nominated by Government of Nepal whereas Vice-Chairman is elected from NMC members. NMC is one of many statutory bodies related to Healthcare in Nepal. It mainly deals with code and conduct of medical doctors registered in this council. Other are Nepal Nursing Council, Nepal Pharmacy Council, Nepal Ayurvedic Medical Council, Nepal Health Professional Council, Nepal Health Research Council. Nepalgunj Medical College (NGMC) is a private medical college in Kohalpur, Nepal. It was established in 1996. Kanchanpur District
Kanchanpur District ( ), a part of Sudurpashchim Province in the Terai plain, is one of seventy-seven districts of Nepal. The district, with Bhimdatta as its district headquarters, covers an area of and had a population of 134,868 in 2001 and 171,304 in 2011. It is located in south-western of Nepal. It is bordered by Kailali district in the east, Dadeldhura district in the north and with India in the south and west. Janakpur
Janakpurdham or Janakpur (), is the capital city of Madhesh Province. This sub-metropolitan city is a central hub for the Maithili language, as well as for religious and cultural tourism in Nepal. Birgunj
Birgunj () is a metropolitan city in Parsa District in Madhes Pradesh in southern Nepal. It lies south of the capital Kathmandu, attached in the north to Raxaul on the border of the Indian state of Bihar. As an entry point to Nepal from Patna, Birgunj is known as the "Gateway of Nepal".
