Nemesis Reborn
Nemesis Reborn, previously Nemesis, is an inverted roller coaster located at the Alton Towers theme park in Staffordshire, England. It was manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard (B&M) and designed by Werner Stengel, from a concept by park developer John Wardley. It opened in the Alton Towers#Forbidden Valley, Forbidden Valley (formerly Thunder Valley) area of the park on 19 March 1994. The ride stands tall and features a top speed of . The four-inversion roller coaster was one of the first rides by the Swiss manufacturer B&M to be installed outside the United States, and the first in Europe as an independent company. Nemesis Inferno is an inverted roller coaster at the Thorpe Park theme park in Surrey, England, UK. The ride was manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, the same Switzerland, Swiss firm that built the Nemesis (roller coaster), Nemesis inverted roller coaster at Alton Towers. Adventure Island is a theme park in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England. The site of the theme park flanks the north end of Southend Pier and has been a theme park since 1976 when the land now forming the west side of the park was purchased by the Miller family. The park used to be known as Peter Pan's Playground and later Peter Pan's Adventure Island before becoming Adventure Island. The site is owned and managed by Stockvale Limited. The park contains thirty six rides, retail outlets, and numerous catering outlets. Thorpe Park, formerly also known as Thorpe Park Resort, is a theme park located in the village of Thorpe between the towns of Chertsey and Staines-upon-Thames in Surrey, England, southwest of Central London.
