Nell Mescal
Nell Mescal (born 28 April 2003) is an Irish singer-songwriter. Early life Mescal is from Maynooth, County Kildare. She is the younger sister of actor Paul Mescal. They have performed a few song covers as a duet. They also have a middle brother, Donnacha. Mescal was bullied at school. When she was 14, she was diagnosed with scoliosis and had to have back surgery. It was during her recovery time off from school that she honed her music skills. At 17, she spent three months in Brighton where her career began. She left school early in October 2021 for London to pursue music full-time. Career Mescal released her debut single "Crash" in 2020, working with producer John Leader. This was followed by "Deja Vu", "Swingsets", and "Missing You". Maynooth (; ) is a university town in north County Kildare, Ireland. Mary Chapin Carpenter (born February 21, 1958) is an American country and folk music singer-songwriter. Live At Leeds (festival)
Live at Leeds is a music festival that takes place across various venues in Leeds, England, on the weekend of the May Day bank holiday. The festival began in 2007 to mark the city of Leeds's 800th birthday and was jointly hosted by Leeds City Council and music promotion company Futuresound. This initial event took place at the end of May and featured around 50 bands playing live in and around Leeds city centre along with film screenings and a music industry seminar. Kendal Calling is a music and arts festival, held annually at Lowther Deer Park in the Lake District, Cumbria in the North West of England. Electric Picnic is an annual arts-and-music festival which has been staged since 2004 at Stradbally Hall in Stradbally, County Laois, Ireland. Boardmasters Festival
Boardmasters Festival is an annual event held in Cornwall, United Kingdom, usually spanning five days on the second weekend of August. The event is a combination of live music and surfing/skateboarding competitions in and around the town of Newquay. The festival was founded in 1981 as a surfing competition, and in 2005 it was expanded to include music acts, taking place at Watergate Bay. In 2024 the official capacity of the event was increased to 58,000. The majority of the music performances take place to the north of Newquay near Watergate Bay.
