Neistin is a Faroe Islands, Faroese handball club in Tórshavn, which was founded on 21 March 1931. Neistin has many different teams for men and women, boys and girls. They have teams in the men's best division, FTZ deildin. Neistin has also a team in the women's best division, Hvonn deildin. In April 2011 both men and women won the best divisions in Faroese handball and became Faroese champions. It was the first time in 33 years that both teams of Neistin won the Faroese championship. Tórshavn
Tórshavn (; lit. "Thor's harbour"), usually locally referred to as simply ''Havn'', is the capital and largest city of the Faroe Islands. It is located in the southern part on the east coast of Streymoy. To the northwest of the city lies the mountain Húsareyn, and to the southwest, the Kirkjubøreyn. They are separated by the Sandá River. The city itself has a population of 13,957 (2022), and the greater urban area has a population of 21,078, including the suburbs of Hoyvik and Argir.
