Neil Rock
Neil Alan Rock (born 24 September 2000) is an Irish cricketer. Rock made his international debut for the Ireland cricket team in August 2021. Career Rock made his Twenty20 debut for Northern Knights in the 2018 Inter-Provincial Trophy on 18 May 2018. Prior to his Twenty20 debut, he was named in Ireland's squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his List A debut for Northern Knights in the 2018 Inter-Provincial Cup on 28 May 2018. He made his first-class debut for Northern Knights in the 2018 Inter-Provincial Championship on 29 May 2018. In December 2020, Rock was named in Ireland's One Day International (ODI) squad for their tour to the UAE to play the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan. Irish Cricket Team Against Afghanistan In The UAE In 2020–21
The Ireland cricket team toured the United Arab Emirates in January 2021 to play three One Day International (ODI) matches against Afghanistan. The ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. All of the matches were played at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The Afghanistan team's visa applications for travel to the UAE were delayed, resulting in the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) making contingency plans for the series to be played in Oman. However, on 5 January 2021, the ACB confirmed that the team would be travelling to the UAE per the original schedule. A substitute in the sport of cricket is a replacement player that the umpires allow when a player has been injured or become ill, after the nomination of the players at the start of the game. The rules for substitutes appear in Law 24 of the '' Laws of Cricket''. Overview A substitute can act for the injured or ill player in the field, although they may not bowl, bat or act as captain, unless otherwise agreed by the captains. Andy McBrine
Andrew Robert McBrine (born 30 April 1993) is an Irish cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman who bowls right-arm off spin. McBrine is the son of Alexander McBrine and the nephew of James McBrine, both of whom also played cricket for Ireland. The 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup was the seventh ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament, with the matches played in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from 17 October to 14 November 2021.
