Neijiang ( zh, s=内江 , t=內江; Sichuanese Pinyin: Nui4jiang1; Sichuanese Mandarin, Sichuanese pronunciation: ; zh, p=Nèijiāng , w=Nei-chiang) is a prefecture-level city in the southeast of Sichuan province, People's Republic of China. Neijiang–Kunming Railway
The Neijiang–Kunming railway or Neikun railway (), is a single-track railroad between Neijiang and Kunming in Southwest China. The line runs from Neijiang in Sichuan province to Kunming in Yunnan province through western Guizhou province. The Neikun Line was built in three sections. The northern section, from Neijiang to Anbian township of Yibin and in length, was built from 1956 to 1960. The southern section from Kunming to Meihuashan station, near Liupanshui in Guizhou, and in length, was built from 1960 to 1965 and became the westernmost segment of the Guiyang-Kunming railway. The middle section between Anbian and Meihuashan through Zhaotong and in length was built from 1998 to 2001. Tian Ye (mathematician)
Tian Ye or Ye Tian (; born November 1971) is a Chinese mathematician known for his research in number theory and arithmetic geometry. He is a professor of mathematics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and is the deputy director of its Morningside Center of Mathematics. Early life and education Tian Ye was born in Neijiang, Sichuan, China in November 1971. From 1989 to 1996, he studied at Sichuan University where he received his B.S. and M.S. He received his Ph.D. in mathematics under Shou-Wu Zhang at Columbia University in 2003. He was a member at the Institute for Advanced Study from 2003 to 2004. Career Tian was a post-doctoral researcher at McGill University from 2004 to 2006. He has been a professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences since 2006. Chang Dai-chien or Zhang Daqian (; 10 May 1899 – 2 April 1983) was one of the best-known and most prodigious Chinese artists of the twentieth century. Originally known as a '' guohua'' (traditionalist) painter, by the 1960s he was also renowned as a modern impressionist and expressionist painter.
