Nehemiah Odhiambo
Nehemiah Odhiambo Ngoche (born 7 August 1984) is a Kenyan cricketer. He plays both One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals for Kenya. He is the brother of fellow Kenyan cricketers Lameck Onyango, James Ngoche and Shem Ngoche. Their sister Margaret Ngoche is also a Kenyan cricketer and a former captain of the Kenya women's cricket team. International career Known for his fast-medium bowling, Odhiambo was the first player to take a T20I five-wicket haul on the home soil when he did it on 4 February 2010 against Scotland at Nairobi and also became the second bowler to grab a five-wicket haul in T20I history. He was also the first Kenyan to achieve this feat. Odhiambo was one of three brothers, others being James and Shem, in the Kenyan squad for the World Cup held in Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka from 19 February to 2 April 2011. The 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier was a cricket tournament played as part of the qualification process for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup, during October and November 2021. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full international status to Twenty20 men's matches played between member sides from 1 January 2019 onwards. Therefore, all the matches in the Regional Qualifiers had the Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) status. The 2019 Oman Cricket World Cup Challenge League B was the inaugural edition of Group B of the 2019–2022 Cricket World Cup Challenge League, a cricket tournament which formed part of the qualification pathway to the 2023 Cricket World Cup. It took place in Oman, with all the matches having List A status. Initially, it was scheduled to take place between 25 November and 10 December 2019 in Hong Kong. 2018 Africa T20 Cup
The 2018 Africa T20 Cup was the fourth and final edition of the Africa T20 Cup, a Twenty20 cricket tournament. It was held in South Africa in September 2018, as a curtain-raiser to the 2018–19 South African domestic season. Provincial side KwaZulu-Natal Inland were the defending champions. Organised by Cricket South Africa, the tournament was played between twenty teams. Sixteen of these teams had participated in previous years – thirteen South African provincial teams, national representative sides of Kenya, Namibia and Zimbabwe – and they were joined by South African teams Limpopo and Mpumalanga along with Nigeria and Uganda. 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two
2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two was a cricket tournament that took place in February 2018 in Namibia. The United Arab Emirates won the tournament, after beating Nepal by 7 runs in the final. Canada and Namibia finished third and fourth respectively and remained in Division Two. Oman and Kenya finished fifth and sixth respectively and were both relegated to Division Three. Following Kenya's last-place finish in the tournament, their captain Rakep Patel and their coach Thomas Odoyo both resigned.
