Negros Occidental Provincial Board
The Negros Occidental Provincial Board is the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial legislature) of the Philippine province of Negros Occidental. The members are elected via six provincial board districts, coextensive with the legislative districts of Negros Occidental, each sending two members to the provincial board; the electorate votes for two members, with the two candidates with the highest number of votes being elected. The Vice Governor of Negros Occidental is the ex officio presiding officer, elected with the Governor. As ex officio presiding officer, he only votes to break ties. National Unity Party (Philippines)
The National Unity Party (NUP) is a political party in the Philippines. The party was formed in 2010 by former members of Lakas-Kampi CMD who broke away after internal discontent within the party. Since 2016, the party is part of the PDP–Laban-led coalition in the House of Representatives, the Coalition for Change. The party was accredited by the Commission of Elections as a national party in a resolution dated October 5, 2011. San Carlos City, Negros Occidental
San Carlos, officially the City of San Carlos ( ceb, Dakbayan sa San Carlos; hil, Dakbanwa/Syudad sang San Carlos; fil, Lungsod ng San Carlos), is a 2nd class component city in the province of Negros Occidental, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 132,650 people. Escalante, officially the City of Escalante ( ceb, Dakbayan sa Escalante; hil, Dakbanwa sang Escalante; fil, Lungsod ng Escalante), is a 4th class component city in the province of Negros Occidental, Philippines.
