Negative is a Finnish glam rock band founded in Tampere in 1997. The band itself labels the music as "emotional rock'n roll". Jann Wilde
Jann Wilde (Jani Matti Juhani Tuovinen) is a Finnish singer/songwriter from Tampere, Finland. He was born on 14 April 1982. Jann Wilde started his musical career when he released his demo EP Boys Out Of New York in 2004. On the early demos, he recorded all the instruments on most of the tracks. In 2005, Jann Wilde teamed up with a band Rose Avenue and formed Jann Wilde & Rose Avenue. They released one album in February 2007, called "Tokio Okei", before splitting up. Subsequently, Jann Wilde and Rose Avenue drummer Tender Rexx recruited new musicians. Their record label wanted them to retain the existing band name, but the new formation took the name Jann Wilde & The Neon Comets. They released the critically acclaimed album Neon City Rockers on August 27, 2008. Soon after the release of the album, the band left their label, Hype Records, citing a lack of financial and artistical support. ''Aamulehti'' ( Finnish for "morning newspaper") is a Finnish-language daily newspaper published in Tampere, Finland. Established in 1881 by Finnish patriots in Tampere, the newspaper aimed to bolster the Finnish language and people's identity during Russia's reign over Finland. Throughout the Cold War, ''Aamulehti'' was accused by the Soviet Union of spreading US propaganda, leading to protests from the Soviet Embassy in Helsinki. HIM (Finnish Band)
HIM (sometimes stylized as H.I.M.) was a Finnish gothic rock band from Helsinki. First formed in 1991 by vocalist Ville Valo and bassist Mige (musician), Mikko "Mige" Paananen under the name His Infernal Majesty, the band broke up after only a few years, only to be reformed in 1995 by Valo and guitarist Linde Lindström, Mikko "Linde" Lindström. The Rasmus
The Rasmus is a Finnish Pop music, rock band that formed in 1994 in Helsinki while the band members were in upper comprehensive school.Main source of the band's history: The original band members were Lauri Ylönen (founder, frontman, lead singer-songwriter), Eero Heinonen (bass), Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar) and Jarno Lahti (drums).
