Neetu David
Neetu Lawrence David (born 1 September 1977) is an Indian former cricketer and current chairperson of the selection panel of the India women's cricket team. She played as a slow left-arm orthodox bowler. She appeared in 10 Test matches and 97 One Day Internationals for India between 1995 and 2008. She played domestic cricket for Uttar Pradesh and Railways. David holds the record for the best bowling figures in a Women's Test innings, taking 8/53 against England in November 1995. She bowled with figures of 9/90 in the match which India ended up losing by two runs. These are the best bowling figures in a Women's Test match while ending up on the losing side. She is India's fourth-highest all-time wicket-taker in WTest cricket, and second-highest all-time wicket-taker for India in WODI cricket. She was also the first Indian bowler to 100 WODI wickets. 2008 Women's Asia Cup
The 2008 Women's One-Day Internationals Asia Cup was the fourth edition of the ACC Women's Asia Cup, a Women's One Day International cricket tournament organized by the Asian Cricket Council. Four teams took part in the tournament: Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Matches involving Bangladesh did not have ODI status. It was held between 2 May and 11 May 2008, in Sri Lanka. The 2012–13 Senior Women's T20 League was the 5th edition of the women's Twenty20 cricket competition in India. It took place in February and March 2013 with 26 teams divided into five regional groups. Railways won the tournament, their fourth in a row, beating Hyderabad in the final. Competition format The 26 teams competing in the tournament were divided into five zonal groups: Central, East, North, South and West. The tournament operated on a round-robin format, with each team playing every other team in their group once. The top two sides from each group progressed to the Super League round, where the 10 remaining teams were divided into two further round-robin groups.
