Nectarios Triantis
Nectarios Triantis (born 11 May 2003) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a defensive midfielder for side Hibernian, on loan from club Sunderland, and for the Australia national team. Triantis has represented Australia at under-20 level at the 2023 U20 Asian Cup. Early life Triantis was born in Sydney, New South Wales to Poppy Triantis, with seven brothers and three sisters, and is of Greek descent. His father, Con Triantis, passed away from a fire in Eastwood when he was eight. He has three older brothers, Chris and Peter, both of whom were professional soccer players in the A-League. Peter Triantis (born 17 January 1992) is an Australian soccer player who plays as a central midfielder for Bankstown City. Chris Triantis (born 12 October 1987) is an Australian soccer player who plays for Bankstown City. Early years Born in Sydney, the eldest of ten children, Triantis attended his father's alma mater, Newington College (2002–2004).
