Nazia Hasan
Nazia Hassan (3 April 1965 – 13 August 2000) was a Pakistani singer, songwriter, lawyer, political analyst and philanthropist. Referred to as the " Queen of South Asian Pop", she is considered one of the most influential singers in South Asia. Starting in the 1980s, as part of the duo Nazia and Zoheb, she and her brother Zoheb Hassan, have sold over 65 million records worldwide. Hassan made her singing debut with the song " Aap Jaisa Koi", which appeared in the Indian film '' Qurbani'' in 1980. She received praise for the single, and won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer at the age of 15 in 1981, becoming the first Pakistani to win and currently remains the youngest recipient of the award to date. The Pride of Performance (), officially known as the Presidential Pride of Performance, is an award bestowed by the Pakistan, Islamic Republic of Pakistan to recognize people with "notable achievements in the field of art, science, literature, sports, and nursing". Shoaib Mansoor (; born 4 February 1951 Karachi) is a Pakistani television and film director, writer, producer, lyricist and musician of Mahajir (Pakistan), Muhajir origin. Music '89 was the first ever all pop music stage-show to be aired on Pakistan TV. Music '89 pop music show This music show was aired in January 1989, on PTV (Pakistan state run TV channel). The show was directed by Shoaib Mansoor and hosted by the famous pop singer Nazia Hassan and her brother, Zohaib Hassan. It was a revolutionary show that introduced a new breed of young musicians post- Nazia and Zoheb. Ashim Ahluwalia (born 1972 in Mumbai, India) is a film director and screenwriter. ''Young Tarang'' is the third studio album by the Pakistani pop duo Nazia and Zoheb, consisting of Nazia Hassan and Zoheb Hassan. The music was composed by Zoheb and British-Indian producer Biddu, with lyrics written by Nazia and Zoheb. It was first released in Pakistan in 1983, then worldwide in 1984, and went on to sell over 40 million copies. It is one of the most famous albums of Asia. It was also the first South Asian album to feature music videos. Music video Amit Khanna directed "Zara Chera Tu Dekhao", "Sunn" and "Dosti". He used three cameras to shoot the videos.
