Nazgol Ansarinia
Nazgol Ansarinia (born 1979) is an Iranian interdisciplinary visual artist. Biography Ansarina was born in 1979 in Tehran, Pahlavi Iran. She holds a BA degree from the London College of Communication, and a MFA degree from the California College of the Arts. In March 2009, she was awarded the Abraaj Capital Art Prize. Her work is included in the collections of the Queensland Art Gallery, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Tate Gallery and the British Museum. Tate is an institution that houses, in a network of four art galleries, the United Kingdom's national collection of British art, and international modern and contemporary art. Pahlavi Iran
The Imperial State of Iran ( fa, کشور شاهنشاهی ایران, ), also known as the Imperial State of Persia, was the official name of the Iranian state under the rule of the Pahlavi dynasty. It was formed in 1925 and lasted until 1979, when the Pahlavis were overthrown as a result of the Islamic Revolution, which abolished Iran's continuous monarchy and established the present-day Islamic Republic of Iran. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is an art museum located on Wilshire Boulevard in the Miracle Mile vicinity of Los Angeles.
