Nayeem Hasan
Mohammad Nayeem Hasan (Bengali language, Bengali: মোহাম্মদ নাঈম হাসান; born 12 February 2000) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He made his first-class cricket, first-class debut for Chittagong Division cricket team, Chittagong Division in the 2016–17 National Cricket League on 10 October 2015 and Test cricket, Test match debut for the Bangladesh national cricket team, Bangladesh in November 2018 where he got five wickets in the first innings, becoming the youngest bowler to take a five-wicket haul on debut in Tests, at the age of 17 years and 356 days. Domestic career Nayeem made his Twenty20 debut for Chittagong Vikings on 29 November 2017 in the 2017–18 Bangladesh Premier League, BPL 5. 2018–19 National Cricket League
The 2018–19 National Cricket League was the twentieth edition of the National Cricket League (NCL), a first-class cricket competition that was held in Bangladesh. The tournament started on 1 October 2018, with eight teams placed into two tiers. Khulna Division were the defending champions. The opening round of matches saw a total of thirteen centuries made by twelve different batsman, the first time this had happened at the start of a cricket tournament in Bangladesh. Round four of the tournament produced the two narrowest victories in the history of the NCL, with Sylhet Division winning their match against Dhaka Metropolis by three runs, and Rangpur Division beating Barisal Division by five runs. West Indian Cricket Team In Bangladesh In 2018–19
The West Indies cricket team toured Bangladesh in November and December 2018 to play two Tests, three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. It was the West Indies first full tour of Bangladesh since December 2012. The 2018 Asia Cup (also known as Unimoni Asia Cup for sponsorship reasons) was a One-Day International (ODI) cricket tournament that was held in the United Arab Emirates in September 2018. It was the 14th edition of the Asia Cup and the third time the tournament was played in the United Arab Emirates, after the 1984 and 1995 tournaments. India were the defending champions, and retained their title, after beating Bangladesh by three wickets in the final. The Sri Lanka cricket team toured Bangladesh in January and February 2018 to play two Tests and two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. Prior to the tour, both teams played in a tri-series, along with Zimbabwe. In December 2017, Shakib Al Hasan was named the new captain of Bangladesh's Test squad, replacing Mushfiqur Rahim. However, ahead of the Test series, Shakib suffered a hand injury during the final of the 2017–18 Bangladesh Tri-Nation Series, and Mahmudullah was named as captain of Bangladesh for the first Test. The 2018 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament held in New Zealand from 13 January till 3 February 2018. It was the twelfth edition of the U19 World Cup, and the third to be held in New Zealand after the 2002 and the 2010 events. New Zealand became the first country to host the event thrice. The Bangladesh Premier League 2019–20, also known as BPL Season 7 or Bangabandhu BPL Presented by AKASH DTH and Powered by TVS (for sponsorship reasons), was the seventh season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the top level professional Twenty20 cricket league in Bangladesh. Sylhet Strikers () is a professional cricket franchise based in Sylhet, Bangladesh, competing in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The team made its debut in the inaugural 2012 Bangladesh Premier League. Initially owned by Sylhet Sports Limited under the leadership of former Bangladesh Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, the team’s ownership later passed to his son, Shahed Muhith, who became the chairman. The East Zone cricket team or Islami Bank East Zone is a first class cricket team that represents eastern Bangladesh in the Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL). It is a composite team of two Bangladeshi first-class teams: Chittagong Division and Sylhet Division. East Zone has played in the BCL from the opening 2012–13 season. In January 2018, they scored 735 runs for 6 wickets in their first innings against Central Zone in the 2017–18 Bangladesh Cricket League.
