Nawaf Massalha
Nawaf Massalha (, ; 26 November 1943 – 26 October 2021, also spelt Nawaf Mazalha or Nawaf Masalha) was an Israeli Arab politician and a member of the Knesset. He became the first Muslim Arab to hold a ministerial position in the Israeli government when he was appointed Deputy Minister of Health by Yitzhak Rabin in 1992. Background Massalha was born in the town of Kafr Qara during the Mandate era. He attended Tel Aviv University, gaining a BA, and worked as a teacher. He was married and father of five children. Nawaf Bander Nawaf Al-Temyat (; born 28 June 1976) is a Saudi Arabian former footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Al-Temyat played his entire club career with Al-Hilal, starting in 1994 and retiring in 2008. In 2000, he was nominated Asian Player of the Year. A series of injuries prevented him from playing between 2001 and 2004. His last game with Al-Hilal was in 2008. Nawaf bin Faisal Al Saud (; born 1 April 1978) is a Saudi Arabian government official who served as the president of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee from 2011 to 2013. He is also a former president of youth welfare. A member of the House of Saud, he is a grandson of King Fahd and Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz. Early life and education Nawaf was born on 1 April 1978. He is the eldest son of Prince Faisal bin Fahd, himself the eldest son of King Fahd. His mother was Princess Munira bint Sultan, a daughter of King Fahd's brother Sultan bin Abdulaziz. Nawaf Abdallah Salim Salam (; born 15 December 1953) is a Lebanese politician, diplomat, jurist and academic who has been serving as the 53rd prime minister of Lebanon since 8 February 2025. Salam previously sat on the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for a nine-year term beginning in 2018, and additionally served as Lebanon's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York from 2007 to 2017, during which time he held the positions of President of the Security Council and Vice President of the General Assembly. Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah (; 25 June 1937 – 16 December 2023) was Emir of Kuwait from 2020 until his death in 2023. He was minister of interior (1978–1988, 2003–2006), minister of defense (1988–1991) and deputy prime minister (2020–2023). Nawaf was nominated as crown prince on 7 February 2006, during the reign of his half-brother Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
