Rajinder Singh Bedi
Rajinder Singh Bedi (1 September 1915 – 11 November 1984) was an Indian Urdu writer of the progressive writers' movement and a playwright, who later worked in Hindi cinema as a film director, screenwriter and dialogue writer and he is grandfather to Rajat Bedi and Manek Bedi. As a screenwriter and dialogue writer, he is best known for Hrishikesh Mukherjee's films , '' Anupama'' and '' Satyakam''; and Bimal Roy's ''Madhumati''. As a director he is known for '' Dastak'' (1970), starring Sanjeev Kumar and Rehana Sultan and '' Phagun'' (1973), starring Dharmendra, Waheeda Rehman, Jaya Bhaduri and Vijay Arora. Veena (actress)
Veena (née Tajour Sultana; 4 July 1926 – 14 November 2004), also known as Veena Kumari, was an Indian actress. Early life and background Veena was born as Tajour Sultana on 4 July 1926 in Quetta, Baluchistan Agency, British India. Later, her family moved to Lahore and they lived there for an extended period of time. She married actor-hero Al Nasir in 1947 in Junagadh and had two children with him. Al Nasir was from a royal family in Bhopal and had already been married, first to actress Meena Shorey and then to Manorama. They both worked together in a few films but their films flopped at the box-office. Al Nasir died in 1957 due to tetanus. Career Veena started out playing heroine roles in pre-partition films. Mohammed Rafi
Mohammed Rafi (24 December 1924 – 31 July 1980) was an Indian playback singer. He is considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent. Chand Usmani (3 January 1933 – 26 November 1989) was an Indian actress in Hindi films from the 1950s to the late 1980s. She won the 1971 Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress.
