Navid Shahzad
Navid Shahzad (née Rahman) is a Pakistani actress, writer and educationist. She started her career as an actor in 1970s and has appeared in a number of television series since then. Navid was a popular and successful actress of 1970s. She made her film debut with a supporting role in Nadeem Baig's ''Punjab Nahi Jaungi''. She became an author when her first book ''Aslan's Roar'' was published in 2019. Shahzad is the recipient of the president's Pride of Performance, the highest literary award of Pakistan. Early life Shahzad was born and raised in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Her father S. A. Rahman was the judge at the Supreme Court of Pakistan and later served as the 5th chief justice of Pakistan. She completed her studies from Government College, Lahore.
