Laurent Naud
Laurent Naud (September 11, 1909 to Sainte-Thècle, Quebec, Sainte-Thècle, Quebec, Canada – March 4, 1992 to Sainte-Thècle, Quebec, Sainte-Thècle) was a Quebec businessman (Canada) operating a lumber factory and a building materials business in Sainte-Thècle. He was married June 24, 1940 in the church of Sainte-Thècle to Madeleine Lafrance. This couple has ten children baptized in Sainte-Thècle. Five generations of the Naud family have marked the history of Sainte-Thècle by their roles in business and merchants. Alfred Naud Alfred Naud (married to Marie Hamelin) who then resided at St-Joseph rank, began in 1878 the operation of a sawmill by harnessing the falls at the head of the river desires at the mouth of Lake Travers. Daniel Naud
Daniel "Danny" Naud (born February 20, 1962) is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and a former professional player. He is currently serving as sporting director of the Bietigheim Steelers in Germany. Playing career Born in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Naud played professionally in the AHL and the IHL, before taking his game to Europe in 1986. A defenseman, his overseas career included stints in Germany (EV Landshut, Augsburger EV/Augsburger Panther, TuS Geretsried), Switzerland (SC Langnau) and France (Dragons de Rouen) and lasted from 1986 to 1999. Highlights of his playing career were winning the AHL Calder Cup with the Rochester Americans in 1983, the Turner Cup with IHL’s Muskegon Lumberjacks in 1985 and earning promotion to the German elite league Deutsche Eishockey Liga with the Augsburger Panther in 1994. Cassandra Naud (born 1992) is a Canadian actress. She starred in the 2022 horror film ''Influencer''. Early life Naud is from Fort McMurray in Alberta. She was born with a large nevus under her right eye. Her parents decided against removing it after doctors informed them the procedure was too risky. She experienced bullying due to the nevus. Naud started dancing at the age of five. She attended the Bachelor of Fine Arts program for dance and theater at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in Los Angeles, and graduated in 2014. Naud Junction
Naud Junction was an area in northern Downtown Los Angeles, California. It was located at the junction of Main Street and Alameda Street, where Southern Pacific Railroad trains veered off Alameda to tracks along Alhambra Avenue and the Los Angeles River. History It is named for French-American warehouseman Edouard Naud, who built a warehouse at the junction in 1878. Naud Junction was marked by a signal tower built at Alameda and Ord streets in 1898. This was torn down in 1940, after Union Station was built. Boxing pavilion From 1905 to 1913, Naud Junction was the location of the city of Los Angeles' primary boxing pavilion, which was built by promoter Thomas McCarey.
