Kula Shaker are an English psychedelic rock band. Led by frontman Crispian Mills, the band came to prominence during the Post-Britpop era of the late 1990s. The band enjoyed commercial success in the UK between 1996 and 1999, notching up a number of Top 10 Hit single, hits on the UK Singles Chart, including "Tattva (song), Tattva", "Hey Dude (song), Hey Dude", "Govinda (Kula Shaker song), Govinda", "Hush (Billy Joe Royal song), Hush" and "Sound of Drums (song), Sound of Drums". ''K'' is the debut album by English psychedelic rock band Kula Shaker, released on 16 September 1996. It became the fastest selling debut album in Britain since Elastica's debut the previous year, selling 105,768 copies in the first week. The Dutch Single Top 100 or Single Top 100 is a Dutch chart, based on official physical single sales, legal downloads and since July 2013 streaming and composed by Dutch Charts. It is one of the three official charts, the other two being the Dutch Top 40 and the Mega Top 30. The difference is that these charts also include airplay data. ''Revenge of the King'' is an EP by Kula Shaker, released on 31 March 2006, the first Kula Shaker release since the band reformed. It was originally only available as a download from iTunes; later it was released as a limited edition 10" vinyl EP, sold only at concerts and through the band's website. It was subsequently released in Japan on CD with an additional bonus track and the alternate title, ''Garage EP''. The song "Diktator of the Free World" was re-recorded for the band's third album, ''Strangefolk'', and renamed "Great Dictator (of the Free World)". The song's lyrics were also changed significantly for its appearance on ''Strangefolk''. "6 ft. Down" was also re-recorded for Kula Shaker's third album and was renamed "6ft Down Blues". ''Pilgrims Progress'' is the fourth studio album by Kula Shaker and was released on 28 June 2010. The first single to be taken from the album was "Peter Pan R.I.P", which was made available to download as an MP3 from the band's website on 22 April 2010. A three-track "Peter Pan R.I.P" EP was later made available on the iTunes Store on 18 June 2010. The album's title is a deliberate misspelling of John Bunyan's story, ''The Pilgrim's Progress''. ''Pilgrims Progress'' was released in three different versions: a standard twelve-track album; a limited edition deluxe box set, with a bonus CD of unreleased songs and demos; and a super deluxe box set, featuring the regular deluxe package, along with a vinyl LP of the album and a T-shirt. The super deluxe edition is limited to 300 copies and is signed by the cover artist Chris Hopewell.
