Calvin Leon Natt (born January 8, 1957) is an American former professional basketball player. A forward, Natt played at Northeast Louisiana University under coach Lenny Fant. After college, he played 11 NBA seasons (1979–1990), spending time with the New Jersey Nets, Portland Trail Blazers, Denver Nuggets, San Antonio Spurs, and Indiana Pacers. Christopher William Natt (born 9 December 1952) is a former Australian politician and Australian rules footballer who played for the Port Adelaide Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Football career A ruckman, Natt played 216 games for Port Adelaide between 1972 and 1983. He won two premierships with Port Adelaide in 1980 and 1981. Following his retirement from football, Natt coached local teams in South Australia before moving to the Northern Territory to take up the position of chief executive officer of the Northern Territory Football League. Politics In 2005, Natt ran for the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly as the Labor Party candidate in the Palmerston electorate of Drysdale at the 2005 Territory election. Phoebe Davis Natt (1848–1899) was an American painter. Biography Natt was born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania on November 23, 1848. She studied at the Philadelphia School of Design for Women and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts She also studied in Paris, France and Florence, Italy. Her teachers included Thomas Eakins and Tony Robert-Fleury. She studied etching with Stephen Parrish. Natt exhibited her art at The Women's Pavilion of the Philadelphia Centennial Exposition of 1876. Her work was included in the 1888 exhibition "Women Etchers of America", where she is listed as ''Natt, Phebe D. (Miss)''. She exhibited her work in the Woman's Building at the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois. Natt also exhibited her work at the Paris Salon, the National Academy of Design, the Salmagundi Club, the Boston Art Club, and the Art Institute of Chicago. Theodore "Ted" McClelland Natt (March 28, 1941 – August 7, 1999) was a Pulitzer Prize–winning publisher. Natt was publisher of the ''Longview Daily News'' when Mount St. Helens erupted in May 1980. In 1981 the paper and its staff won the Pulitzer Prize for Local, General, or Spot Reporting. Fatal Crash On August 7, 1999, Natt attended a memorial service for writer Willard R. Espy in Oysterville, Washington, and left by personal helicopter. He did not arrive as expected in Kelso, Washington. His disappearance was a mystery.
