National Video Center
The National Video Center was a video production company with studios in Washington, DC, Boston, Atlanta, Connecticut and New York City until June 2002. National Recording Studios opened in 1959 in Manhattan at 730 Fifth Avenue between 56th and 57th Streets - Recording Studios were on the 6th floor which included Studio B, and insert shoot stage for the fledgling National Video, located on the 11th floor. Original owners were Irv Kaufman, Hal Lustig, and brother Carl Lustig. Andrew Lustig eventually became the CEO and owner of National Video Center and Recording Studios. National moved its headquarters to the former West Side Airlines Terminal at 460 West 42nd Street (which was on Theatre Row (New York City)) as well as maintaining a huge music recording studio in what used to be the ballroom of the Edison Hotel. The History Channel (also known as History) is a Canadian English language specialty channel that primarily broadcast programming related to history and historical fiction. It is owned by Corus Entertainment, with the History branding used under a licensing agreement with A+E Networks. PRISM (TV Network)
PRISM (Philadelphia Regional In-home Sports and Movies) was an American regional premium cable television channel in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Launched in September 1976, PRISM was primarily distributed through area cable systems, although it was also available through a scrambled over-the-air signal on WWSG-TV (channel 57, now WPSG) from 1983 to 1985. The channel's programming consisted primarily of theatrically released motion pictures, although it was better known for its telecasts of sporting events, particularly those featuring Philadelphia's Major League Baseball, NHL and NBA sports franchises.
