National Security Council (Iraq)
The Iraqi National Security Council (INSC) ( ar, مجلس الأمن الوطني العراقي) was the body in charge of coordinating Iraq's national security, intelligence and foreign policy strategy. It was established in 2004. Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani
Mohammed Shia' Sabbar al-Sudani ( ar, محمد شياع السوداني) is an Iraqi politician who is serving as the Prime Minister of Iraq since 27 October 2022. He was the Human Rights Minister of Iraq in the Council of Ministers of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki from 2010 until October 2014. He was the Governor of Maysan Province between 2009 and 2010. Early life Sudani was born in Baghdad in 1970. He is married and has four sons. Sudani holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Baghdad in Agricultural Science and a master's degree in Project Management. At the age of 10, he witnessed his father and five other family members executed for membership of the Islamic Dawa Party. Qasim Mohammad Jalal al-Araji Hussaini is an Iraqi politician, former head of the Iraqi Interior Ministry, and a senior member of the Badr Organization. History Education and Iran–Iraq War He was born around 1963 in Kut, southern Iraq. He studied accounting at the Ayatollah Motahhari University in Iran, and Islamic studies at the Imam Kadhim Institute. His official biography claims he moved to Iran shortly after the 1979 Iranian Revolution, but it is believed he was actually a soldier in the Iraqi army in 1984 and fought in the Iran–Iraq War.
