It begins in Prague, Czech Republic, passes through Vienna, Austria and Maribor, Slovenia, ending near Zagreb, Croatia. The total length of the route is . State Route 59 (SR 59) is a state highway in the U.S. state of California located entirely in Merced County. It connects State Route 152 near El Nido to the city of Merced and beyond, ending abruptly at the intersection of County Routes J59 and J16 in Snelling. Route description SR 59 begins at SR 152 as Los Banos Highway. The highway travels north through the town of El Nido until entering the city of Merced, where it runs concurrently with the SR 99 freeway and with SR 140. SR 59 leaves the concurrency on the west side of Merced and travels north as the Snelling Highway. The highway winds up the Sierra Nevada foothills until it passes through Snelling, where it ends. Alabama State Route 59
State Route 59 (SR 59) is a state highway in Baldwin and Monroe counties in the southwestern portion of the U.S. state of Alabama. The highway extends from Gulf Shores on the Gulf of Mexico coast to Uriah in rural southwestern Alabama. Route description The route begins at a junction with SR 21 in Uriah. The route maintains an east-to-west route for about ten miles until it reaches Georgetown. Here it turns north-to-south. The route continues south until it crosses into Baldwin County. It reaches Bay Minette and junctions with SR 225, and eventually I-65 at mile 34. The route then continues south to SR 287, also known as the Gulf Shores Parkway. That route is an effective route for people heading to Montgomery and beyond from Gulf Shores. The routes swap right-of-ways and SR 59 continues along the Gulf Shores Parkway. U.S. Route 59 (US 59) is a north–south United States highway (though it was signed east–west in parts of Texas). A latecomer to the U.S. numbered route system, US 59 is now a border-to-border route, part of the NAFTA Corridor Highway System.
