National Revival Movement Party
The National Revival Movement Party (, MDHP) is a political party in Azerbaijan led by Faraj Guliyev. History In the 2010 Azerbaijani parliamentary election, 2010 parliamentary elections the party won one of the 125 seats in the National Assembly. The party nominated Guliyev as its candidate in the 2013 Azerbaijani presidential election, 2013 presidential elections, but he received just 0.86% of the vote. It retained its seat in the 2015 Azerbaijani parliamentary election, 2015 parliamentary elections,Election results: 2015
Inter-Parliamentary Union and Guliyev ran for the presidency again in the 2018 Azerbaijani presidential election, 2018 elections, in which he received 1.16% of the vote. The party lost its parliamentary representation in the 2020 Azerbaijani parliamentary election, 2020 elections.

Faraj Guliyev
Faraj Guliyev (; born 22 December 1962) is an Azerbaijani politician. Guliyev is a leader and chairman of the nationalist opposition party – National Revival Movement Party. In 2013 and 2018 he was presidential candidate. Early life Guliyev was born on 22 December 1962 in Ordubad, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. He is author of over 7 books. Foreign languages: Turkish language, Turkish, Russian and German. Political activity In 1995, he was convicted and spent several years in prison as opposition leader. In 2002, he was pardoned. The National Assembly (), also transliterated as Milli Mejlis, is the legislative branch of government in Azerbaijan. The unicameral National Assembly has 125 deputies: previously 100 members were elected for five-year terms in single-seat constituencies and 25 members were elected by proportional representation; as of the latest election, however, all 125 deputies are returned from single-member constituencies. The Assembly nominally has powers under the Azerbaijan Constitution, but in practice power is heavily concentrated in Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan. 2010 Azerbaijani Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Azerbaijan on 7 November 2010. Candidates The registration of candidates ended on 15 October. Although 1,115 candidates filed application to run in the election, only 690 were given the go ahead by the electoral commission. Conduct The elections were observed by monitors from the European Parliament, Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and the Council of Europe. 2013 Azerbaijani Presidential Election
Presidential elections were held in Azerbaijan on 9 October 2013. The result was a victory for incumbent President Ilham Aliyev, who received a reported 85% of the vote, whilst leading opposition candidate Jamil Hasanli finished second with a reported 6% of the vote. The elections were marred by claims of irregularities; official results were accidentally released by the government's Central Election Commission through a mobile app before voting began, giving incumbent Aliyev a victory with 73% of the vote. The result was a victory for the ruling New Azerbaijan Party, which won 69 of the 125 seats in the National Assembly amidst an opposition boycott.
